Desirial
The Desirial range is the first antioxidant hyaluronic acid gel specifically formulated to preserve women’s intimate health.
Vaginal and/or vulvar dryness may affect women at any period of their lives, whether it is iatrogenic in origin (e.g isotretinoin, tricyclic antidepressants, neuroleptics, etc.), or linked to menopause, particularly in the absence of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). During menopause, there is a decrease in estrogen secretion, which affects fibroblasts, and leads to progressive hypotrophy of the dermis with flattening of the dermal-epidermal junction. Injection of cross-linked hyaluronic acid into the dermis of the labium can help rehydrate to maintain the proper functioning of the female genital tissues.
Desirial is available in two gel formulations: Desirial and Desirial Plus, these two products differentiate by their distinct hyaluronic acid concentrations and viscoelastic properties to suit the needs of the patient.

Desirial is designed to restore hydration, elasticity, tone, and sensitivity of the vulvovaginal area and to treat vaginal dryness. The degradation of the vagina tissues may appear as discomfort or chronic irritation and itching, which can lead the wounds. With Desirial injections, the hyaluronic acids contribute to hydration and moist of the tissue. Desirial is ideal for peri-menopausal women or in reproductive age suffering from dehydration of the vulva with or without irritations. Desirial can be injected directly injected into the affected tissues of the valvar area and at the entry of the vagina to improve quality and diminish vaginal dryness.

Desirial Plus is a more elastic gel designed for labia majora remodeling to protect the labia minora. Desirial Plus is an ideal treatment for peri-menopausal, menopausal women because the tissues tend to shrink after a certain age, especially around the labia majora, and might damage the natural protection of the vulva and lead to pain. Desirial Plus recreates the volume of the labia majora with the benefit of protecting the vulva. Desirial Plus should be injected under the labia majora dermis. Please note, this comes without 27G needle.
